AI can be useful. It can also be wrong.
AI tools write fluent, confident answers, and some of those answers are wrong or incomplete. AI SafeStep™ starts from that fact. Instead of teaching every button, it teaches five steps that keep you in charge, in any tool, on any screen.
In the words of the guidebooks: “The words on a screen change more often than the habits in this guidebook.”
- Nothing is urgent. Nothing an AI tool says needs to be used in the next minute.
- Start from the official address. Look-alike sites and apps are the most common way learners are misled.
- Share only what you are comfortable sharing. No Social Security number, bank or card numbers, full medical records or passwords.
Watch the method work
“URGENT: Your bank account is locked. Click here within 1 hour.”
Here is the same text message, walked through the five steps. Each step takes less than a minute.
Step 1 · Pause
Feel the rush? Stop. Do not click, call or reply.
Step 2 · Ask
Paste only the words, with no names or codes: “Does this message have signs of a scam?”
Step 3 · Check
Call the bank yourself, on the number printed on your card.
Step 4 · Protect
Never share a one-time code or PIN with anyone who contacts you first.
Step 5 · Improve
Ask: “What are the safest next steps? Who can I report this to?”

A book that helps you while you practise
Read it like a book. Use it like a helper.
Each step reads like a chapter, with Andee’s notes, everyday examples, a Try it now exercise and a Quick Quiz. Beside the words sit simple tools for trying an AI tool on screen or with your voice.
Read aloud
Press Read this page aloud at the top of any page. Andee’s steps are read in your browser’s own voice, a paragraph at a time.
Speak or type your question
The practice boxes build a plain-words question for you. Type it, or speak it where your browser supports it.
Copy the words
Every prompt has a Copy button, so you can paste it straight into the AI tool you use.
Privacy check
Before you send, check your message for card numbers, codes and other private details. It runs only on your device.
Track your steps
Mark each step finished as you go. Your progress stays on this device.
Bigger text and print
Make the text larger with one press, and print any page, or the one-page SafeStep card.
